Rebecca taught me how to surf in Costa Rica so I take her bikini buying advice very seriously! Read on for her top tips, and you can find my swimsuit buying strategies here.
I usually get a solid black bikini and then buy cool patterned separates so I can mix and match and make different suits depending on my mood. Matching bikini top and bottom is pretty boring. Color blocking with a swimsuit is pretty cool.
Make sure you have crack coverage and they’re not so tight that they create muffin top.
And always wash them out in cold water after swimming or surfing.
~ Choose bottoms with side ties so they stay on better in the waves.
It should cover most of your breast with no side boob hanging out.
You can make your own brazilian criss-cross back from any standard bikini! Just tie the bottom around your rib cage, then take the left front strap and tie it to the right back strap and repeat on other side.
