Lately I’ve taken on a new obsession. Generally speaking I’m not a real avid television watcher, but somehow an episode of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries crept into my life. I don’t know how it happened, (Okay, so maybe it was Netflix) and I have no idea how I’ve become so excited about it, (Okay, so it’s a period piece with crazy good fashion) but I just can’t get enough! Thus, another Full Mooned post was born; Modern Interpretations of 1920’s Fashion!
We’ve been seeing it a lot lately, with Great Gatsby and Downton Abbey, but have you noticed beyond T.V. and film the trends that are popping up? I’ve sourced some killer evidence to help my case. Feast your eyes on plenty of dreamy beading, turban-inspired headbands, fur for days and even the ever-perplexing drop-waist is back in town. (ie. Emma Stone’s Golden Globes dress. She wore beading AND a drop waist!) So what’s your favorite 1920’s inspired trend that’s resurfacing? Is it enough to make you a flapper girl glambassador? Let me know! Happy Full Moon guys and gals!
