Post Emmys Discussion: What Does "Best Dressed" Mean?

To me, “best dressed” means looking thoughtfully current and artfully styled, while, most importantly, you feel like yourself during the momentous occasion you are dressing for!

Celebrities are humans too. They get overwhelmed by wardrobe choices and battle bad hair days, unexpected weight gain, and blemishes. I work with speakers, executives, entrepreneurs, authors and performers who appear in front of large audiences. My goal, as a stylist, is to make life easier during these high pressure situations by navigating options as we collaborate on their looks. I often suggest including something familiar, something they’ve lived in for a time, that reflects their sense of style and their life story. This helps them feel confident on stage and in front of the cameras!
