Long time, no blog. My absence has been due to all sorts of change. It’s high time I let you in on it!
After a recent styling tour to New York City, Tulum Mexico, and Los Angeles, I returned home to an opportunity to expand my studio space. Same amazing building, much bigger space. I decided to take the leap. We had a soft opening last week and there will be many more soirées to come. Catch glimpses of it all on my Instagram.
I’ll be styling in and out-of-town clients in the new studio plus hosting regular events including Designer Showcases, Style Socials, Studio Hours, Photoshoots, and the annual Clothing Exchange. Not every event will be specifically related to style, though. I plan on inviting friends who are authors, creatives, and entrepreneurs to use the space too; Weaving community in will only make it better.
Our first event showcased the work of jewelry designer Jules Kim. She and her Bijules collection have been a source of inspiration for years. I’ve shared her jewelry with several clients, but I hadn’t met Jules in person until my recent trip to NYC. Adore. With fans like Beyonce, Rhianna and Erykah Badu, I was thrilled she accepted my invitation to show in person in Portland. Our party was lovely. Man, she’s cool, through and through. Those of you who missed it can pop by to experience the jewelry in person while I host core pieces through July.

My right hand woman, Stevie Solga, made a big move. Trusting in love and adventure, she and her fiancé recently relocated to Austin to further his career in music. She is styling Dominic’s band and, ya know, chilling on Willie Nelson’s ranch. Our work together is not over, it’s just recalibrating itself for long distance… and rock n’ roll!
I’ve had many angels help me, my clients, and the business over the last couple of months. Some more formally than others. I’ll be introducing new blood shortly.
You may have noticed the logo change last year (Thank You, Natasha!), new printed materials (Thank You, Eggpress!), and gorgeous portraits (Thank You, Gia!) in tandem with the opening of my physical office. As the brand and space has evolved, so must our virtual home. Look forward to a new website launching in July.
Wishing you and yours the very best summer!
