My favorite bridal styling project to date peaked last weekend at a gorgeous celebration with a handsome and very happy couple! Deemed “Portland’s Royal Wedding”, #katiepluskris was a divine evening for all thanks to Katie’s vision and the impeccable planning of the ladies at Ella Portland. Brides to be, stay tuned for styling package details coming soon!
With Feast and TBA happening right now, Portland is exploding with creativity, and likely some debauchery. If you’re in town for the festivities, fit in your fashion fix after brunch tomorrow during the PDX Collective Sale at the Ace Hotel. Parallel, EG Page, Physical Element and Bridge & Burn are a few of my favorite local boutiques participating, conveniently located under one roof this weekend.
It’s London’s turn for fashion week, Milan’s too, and we are especially excited about the puzzle-piece inspired looks by Tata Naka and the bold color combos by Roksanda Ilincic. Which designers are you liking?
The Flyover recently featured Adora Tokyo. The DJ, mother, and make-up artist extraordinaire is one of the most inspiring ladies around and a long time friend of Stevie’s! We love to see our dear ones showcased for their personal style and her’s rocks!
I’m totally obsessed with Women In Clothes. This book explores the motives of how women present themselves and what style really means. A compilation of interviews, conversations, drawings, surveys, and diagrams from some amazing women like Miranda July, Mac McClelland, Rachel Kushner and Molly Ringwald, make it that much more interesting. This is a peek in to my world, of sorts, as I work with women and their wardrobes.
